Where is your hotel located?

Our Hotel Le Chevalier bleu is located at the corner of the central place of Monpazier, more precisely at 21 Rue St-Jacques.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

The Check-in time is 3:00 PM and Check-out time is 11:00 AM.

Do you allow early check-in or late check-out?

Depending on availabilities, in exchange for a fee and upon request one day before, you can check in or check out at a different time.

Is parking available at the hotel?

We don’t have a private parking lot. However, there are many free parking lots in nearly all the streets of Monpazier. Please reach out during the Check-in, and we will explain everything about parking.

Rooms & Amenities

What types of rooms do you offer?

We offer three types of rooms: The category “Chic” is a classic double room (around 20-25m²), the category “Comfy” is an apartment (between 30-40m²), and the category “Spacy” is a suite for up to 4 people (60 m²).

Do the rooms have air conditioning and heating?

Yes, all of our rooms have both air conditioning and heating.

Is WiFi available, and is it free?

Yes, WiFi is available and free.

Do you provide extra beds or baby cots?

Depending on availabilities, we can provide extra beds in our “Comfy” and “Spacy” rooms. Cots are available upon request for free, for nearly all of our rooms.

Are pets allowed in the hotel?

We welcome all pets, as long as they are held on a leash in all public areas of the hotel, but the swimming pool area is forbidden for them. We will also apply a 15 € extra fee per day and pet.

Dining & Services

Do you have a restaurant or offer breakfast?

Our Bistro “Le Bleu” offers some snacking options like a board of cold meats, local cheeses, or Galettes and a small breakfast buffet. Please book the breakfast one day in advance at the reception.

Do you offer vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free options?

We do not currently have this type of option in stock, but upon request, we can organize quality products to satisfy your needs.

Booking & Policies

What is your cancellation policy?

All modifications and cancellations of bookings are possible until 3 days before your arrival. After this time, we will charge the credit card given as a warranty the moment you book online or by phone. Once the credit card is charged, no cancellation or modification is possible. If you booked a stay at a non-refundable or modifiable rate, your Credit card is charged right away.

Do you require a deposit when booking?

In case of a non-refundable or modifiable rate (online or by phone) your Credit card is charged right away with the amount of your stay (excluding city taxes). In all other cases, we do not require a deposit until 3 days before your arrival.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Cash and Credit cards as well as Google and Apple payments (except American Express).

Do you offer discounts for group bookings or long stays?

We offer a 12% discount on all our rooms for stays of 5 days or longer.

Local Attractions & Activities

What are the main attractions near the hotel?

The Castle of Biron (15 km), the bastide itself during summertime is well animated, the local Museum, and of course the local market in Monpazier (every Thursday).

Do you offer guided tours or activity recommendations?

The front desk will be happy to give you some ideas of activity depending on your preferences. If needed, the Tourism office of Monpazier can also give you this kind of information. But we do not offer guided tours.

Are there any hiking or cycling routes nearby?

There are some local hiking routes. The Tourism office can give you more information about them.

Can you help with restaurant reservations in Monpazier?

Yes, we will be happy to find and book a table for you in Monpazier or nearby.

Are there any local markets or special events happening during my stay?

Every Thursday, the local market takes place in Monpazier. If there is any other event nearby, you can ask the reception if they have any information about it.
